We are looking for a technical virtual assistant to help with a range of technology and social media tasks so we have more time to work on what’s most important to us — our clients!

Seeking a Technical Virtual Assistant. The ideal candidate should be highly tech-savvy, able to communicate through multiple channels, and super organized. As responsibilities will be varied, both in nature and in complexity, you must have a demonstrated ability to handle a wide variety of administrative and technical tasks and bring to conclusion. At least 3 years of experience required, and experience working in higher education and non-profits is a plus.

Immediate tasks at hand include helping us update our technology, including cellphones and computers; syncing up our calendars and computer files so that they reside securely in the most up-to-date versions both on our computers and “in the cloud;” organizing our email, file sharing and Google docs systems; setting up Google analytics on our website.

Mid-term, tasks will grow to include managing social media and marketing activities aimed at growing our thought leadership efforts; researching new social media platforms such as Clubhouse; identifying potential podcast and conference speaking engagement opportunities that can grow our thought leadership goals; helping to place us in more conference speaking roles and podcast interviews; helping to research the possibility of leveraging Substack as a business and thought leadership opportunity; and (totally unrelated!) developing a Redbubble “store” for Julie’s budding art activities.

The ideal candidate has technical savvy, social media skills, excellent writing and proofreading skills, and skills using design or photo software such as Canva, Photoshop, etc. If this sounds like the type of role you would like to embark upon as a part-time virtual assistant and you have the qualifications and experience to do most (or hopefully all!) of the items described, send your resume, hourly fee, and a cover letter to julierafferty@raffertycommunications.com with the subject line “Virtual Assistant inquiry”
